Lafayette Records is a Grand Rapids-based label started with the generous help of friends. Inspired by labels like Dischord, K and Postcard Records, our main focus is documenting artist in and around the community we live in. We want to provide affordable beautiful physical objects in our digital aged. We want people to feel they can touch the world they live in.
On that note that note, we love meeting new friends from different communities. Do you want to share something you made or an idea you have? Don’t hesitate to contact us. We have traveled a lot but there are many places we know nothing about. Most of those places are on other continent but some are only a car ride away.
